Kawan Gordon

Kawan is a Connecticut native who graduated from Glastonbury High School. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

In addition to being a self-employed entrepreneur, he is also an IT systems engineer for Connecticut’s largest community-based medical practice. Over the course of his career in technical engineering, he has served as the subject-matter expert leading several IT projects. In addition, Kawan holds industry certifications from Microsoft Corporation and CompTIA.

In 2019, Kawan and his wife moved to Bolton. A self-taught craftsman, Kawan has built numerous sheds and outbuildings. The dream garage he plans to build will be his most ambitious project yet.

Kawan is honored to have been nominated by the Bolton DTC to run as a Planning and Zoning Commission Alternate, where he hopes to be able to use his diverse background and experience to improve the residential and commercial areas of Bolton.

In his personal time, he enjoys games of strategy, strength training, and residential construction.
