Barbara is a candidate for Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Assessment Appeals.
Barbara is a Connecticut native who grew up in Hebron. About five years ago, wanting a quiet country life and a more convenient commute, she, her daughter Madison, and now husband Jordan, found their way to the great town of Bolton, which Barbara believes is one of the best-kept secrets in eastern Connecticut.
Before embarking on a career as a real estate agent five years ago, Barbara spent twenty years in the restaurant industry. Whether catering at the Bushnell or working at Harry’s Place in Colchester and the Saybrook Fishhouse in Rocky Hill, her focus was always on quality over quantity. She also gained the skills necessary to work with many types of personalities and to be a true team player.
After purchasing her first home, she grew more and more intrigued by real estate. In 2016, she became a licensed real estate agent. Initially trained by Keller Williams Realty, Barbara is now affiliated with eXp Realty, a cloud-based brokerage. She continues to align herself with professionals in the industry who are focused on growth and people over profit!
Since 2016, Barbara has volunteered with the Bolton PTA, helping out at the annual book fair, field day, and as a coach with the Variety Show at Bolton Center School. A flexible work schedule allows her the time to enjoy being part of the community and to help where needed.
Barbara also loves spending time outdoors, especially in beautiful Bolton, with her friends, family, and dog, Rocky!
Barbara is honored to have been nominated by the Bolton DTC to run for seats on the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Assessment Appeals. She is excited to serve the community by helping Bolton remain the great small town it is while finding and promoting opportunities for the growth that will be needed if the town is to remain relevant in today‘s fast-paced world.
